Panasonic's new point-and-shoot has dual lenses, 3-D capabilities

Most of us have grown so tired of 3-D movies by now that we wouldn't even consider shooting 3-D photos when we're out and about. But Panasonic's putting out a shiny new 3-D-capable Lumix point-and-shoot camera anyway.
It's called the Panasonic Lumix DMX-3D1 and — any disdain for all things 3-D aside — it's actually a pretty lovely little gadget. The camera has two 25mm ultra-wide angle lenses with 4x optical zoom, two 12.1-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensors, and one very pocket-sized body.
The camera can capture 8-megapixel 3-D photos, 12-megapixel 2-D photos, and 1920 x 1080i HD video.
The Panasonic Lumix DMX-3D1 will set you back $500. It should become available sometime in December.
